Probably just warming up (for now).
Next week's warm weather may be the end around here, but further north...?

Report from Traverse City, MI is that the heavy snow a few days ago (+/- 17 inches), Submerged the ice on Elk lake (one of our favorite spots for the Centrals or Fun Regatta)  No reports yet from Houghton lake, Higgins Lake, or Long Lake all of which are further East and probably recieved far less snow.  She is definitely warming up...

-22 Celcious the last few nights here and a nice fresh surface on the Bay.Our season here is finnaly gearing up. Smiley

Parts of NE lower Michigan didn't get any snow. Oscoda is snow free. So Hubbard Lake (15 miles N) might be a possibility if we can get a checker. I'm guessing that Twin Lakes (near Lewiston) got clobbered. We might be able to scrub race on Van Etten Lake outside of Oscoda, but it's too small for Centrals.
