Title: Media coverage of European Championship Post by: flyandice on March 08, 2011, 01:35:14 PM CNN Europe and German Sports TV both covered the race in Estonia. CNN will run theirs sometime in March-probably only in Europe. The German Sports clip ran Sunday evening. They shot some of the footage with an RC helicopter.

I have only seen pictures of the European boats but I can't help noticing that many, if not most of them, are painted instead of clear finished. Even the planks. Much more use of graphics and visuals. Pretty cool looking. Don't get me wrong, I like the look of our clear finished boats, but sometimes it looks like we're sailing furniture instead of cold, hard racing machines. :-) Title: Re: Media coverage of European Championship Post by: sieglege on March 15, 2011, 10:39:19 AM Check out the "making of" the story, with pictures of the totally cool RC Helicam.
