I know friends of mine in the Hobie and Laser Class who go to this and they have found it very informative.Lots of sharing of ideas on how to do a good job promoting your class.I would think it would be a worth while project to fund someone (preferable close proximity) to attend and report back to the class.Maybe even possibly putting an article in Running Tracks.

US Sailing will host their annual One-design symbosium at Bay Head Yacht Club, Bay Head, NJ, November 12-13, 2011. This is an excellent two day symbosium for anyone with interest in one-design sailing. Meet with the leadership of US Sailing along with the leaders of all the major one-design classes in the USA. I have attended this in the past and it truly is a great learning experience. Details at the link below
