The season is getting near, the boat is coming together along with some new runners, but the biggest sign is the pickled eggs I made tonight.... We still have the 2012 Centrals to complete in December.
Title: Re: 2013 Schedule Post by: KB [us5219] on September 25, 2012, 08:05:42 AM We can never quite plan our regatta far in advance due to mother natures whims... but much like the Western Challenge happening the first weekend of December, we will go out on a limb here and give STRONG SUGGESTION that the 2012 Central Championships will again be held as a "Holiday Classic" in between Christmas and New Years in the window of December 27th-30th.
Many have vacation time, or holiday time off, and many have the weekend (29th and 30th) off. This gives time for being with family both holidays with a little break in between to be with "your other family" So mark that on your calendar. In the unlikely evnt that we get fantastic earlier ice, the official call could be made to have the Centrals Then.... HOWEVER, regardless there will be A REGATTA on the planned date if weather allows... so put it in your calendar!
