Title: Swap a Kent 4.1 for a 3.1? Post by: wnethercote on January 30, 2020, 06:58:31 PM I have lost weight and bought a new, softer Moore Bros mast to replace my now-too-stiff four-year old Kent 4.1 (76mm deflection at 95KG from the base to the hounds). Anyone's weight going in the other direction who would like to swap a Kent 3.1 for my 4.1? Not in a hurry - the 4.1 is now just my (too stiff) spare.

Post by: wnethercote on March 17, 2020, 06:21:47 PM I still have the 4.1 but have an offer of a swap for a 3.1 that awaits resolution of COVID 19 travel restrictions. If that swap doesn't work out I would prefer selling a whole working boat (hull, runner plank with Kent-style chocks, insert runners, Kent 4.1, wooden boom, Harken blocks, FO1 and maybe an MS1) to just the mast. With a Kent 3.1 I could take a boat to Europe and leave it there.
