Title: Ice Opti NA's Host Hotel Post by: Daniel Hearn on December 02, 2008, 06:01:36 PM The Ice Opti NA's have been called "ON" in tandem with the Great Western Challenge for Osakis, MN. The host hotel for the Junior Event will be the AmericInn, Saulk Centre, MN, which is off of I-94, 14 miles SE of our sailing venue, on the near side of Minneapolis. The hotel has the all-important hot-tub and pool for the kids, and the rate includes a hot breakfast. Request the 10% discount being offered to attendees of the Great Western Challenge Regatta. Discounted rate for a double queen Thursday night is $67.41 plus tax; $82.71 for Friday and Saturday nights. Saturday night "Chalk Talk" will take place at this host hotel. Saturday night standings will also be posted there. The social aspect of the event is lots of fun for the kids, so parents of Junior sailors are strongly encouraged to book at the AmericInn.
