I am an avid sailor who lives in CO and am interested in ice boating. I know nothing about ice boats but am very familiar with all things sailing. How would a guy go about getting started in ice boating? Are there any organizations in CO? I've seen ice boats on some lakes here so I know they are around. What about building a boat, are plans or instructions available? What would a decent entry level boat cost? Thanks for any help, Bill.
