Title: British Ice Post by: Ken Smith on December 08, 2010, 07:23:27 AM Gareth Rowland from Mablethorpe plans on ice sailing on Pennington Flash NW of Manchester. Set up and practice will be wednesday, Thursday will be the first ever British ice yacht Championships. the sailing this last weekend was postponed because although there was enough ice, there was no wind! the forcast is for more wind but getting warmer, so we have a really narrrow window for good ice.
