Just finished haveing one of the most excellerating days sailing in my life.15-20 knts of steady south winds ,about a 2 mile course, nice smooth ice with zero hazards.I wasd going almost dead down wind sheeted in hard with one runner just skimming the surface for over 2 miles. These are awesome sailing machines. Can not wait for tommorow more of the same wind predicted.

I think a lefty at Sault would be a shorter route?  Not gonna happen now as I have Ice in my front yard for 15 consecutive days and a bunch of Michigan Sailors coming down for some practice today!  Its blowing SW 15-20 with some sticky drifts here and there.  They might soften up today and tomorrow.  Tomorrow we have lighter air followed by rain Thursday morning.  Looking for a Zamboni to shape things up nice for our Sunday Series Races. ???
