sailed upper barnegat bay in lavalette saturday. 7-9 inches of snow/salt ice, estimate a good 7, at least a mile in most directions but will check w gps on sunday. sailing again today w a larger group and plan on scrub racing. A few guys were sailing further down the bay in seaside but was reported rougher. wednesday weather event will determine these sites future. US 5116

sailed lavalette past 4 days. gps says up to a nautical mile course could be set in most directions, but not all. forecast calls for rain or snow or a combo. will update after the storm.

Red bank is reported to be wetted out and sailable after the latest snow. I will report tonite after scouting. All DNers are welcome to come sail and enjoy our club. club racing if conditions allow. 732-747-5665 is the club hotline
