The MR-1 Was developed for lighter weight sailors for the high winds on the fast ice. This is the sail you put on when you easily achieve warp speed, and notice your mast is bending a little more than your comfortable with. The Leech of this sail is far more stable in high winds and will minimize that "flapping" or excess twist that you get upwind in 20knots of breeze. Perfectly suited for sailors under 150 lbs.
