Title: BOARD UPGRADE - Also read class announcement message Post by: kendnsmith on November 10, 2006, 07:13:04 AM November 10, 2006 ALL CURRENT MEMBER REGISTRATIONS WILL BE DELETED SOMETIME IN THE NEXT TEN DAYS. PAID MEMBERS WILL HAVE A NEW MEMBERSHIP ESTABLISHED WITH AN ASSIGNED NAME. FOLLOWING FORMAL SITE INITIATION (ABOUT NOVEMBER 15, 2006), ANYONE CAN REGISTER AS A MEMBER. IF YOU PAY DUES TO THE IDNIYRA, YOUR MEMBERSHIP STATUS IS UPGRADED TO "DN MEMBER." DN members have access to forums not visible to members, receive annual yearbooks, can vote in annual meeting and on rule and constitution changes. Only paid members are eligible to race in regional, national, continental and world championships. European membership is handled slightly differently. In North America (US and Canada), there is one membership requirement, send a membership form and the required annual dues to the class. Go to the main page of teh IDNIYRA for links to do this, or register at a regional or higher regatta. This is open to anyone world wide as well. OUR INTENTION IS TO NOT PERFORM A COMPLETE DUMP-PURGE OF MEMBER REGISTRATIONS AGAIN IN THE FUTURE FOLLOWING INITIATION. |
