Wawasee has been sailed for the past 2 weeks,average 6" of ice ,70% light snow cover 1/2" or so .their are 4 big goose holes on the north west shore area.Ice surface is from wind ice at the east end to a grade 7 in the middle area .very sailable and even had a 1/2 mi course set up on sunday.excess is at the puplic ramp at the east end of the lake. 3/3/11 Wawasee was sailed by several boats today,I hope the ice stay's through the warm up in the next couple of days.the next freeze is sat. night.ice rating is about 6-7.  Rick

Nice video on SA guys.  I want to sail this weekend.  Are your conditions sufficient for scrub racing?  Rain doesn't bother me.  thanks.

We've had alot of rain today,won't be able to check ice until tomorrow.Im hoping that sat.night will freeze enough to sail on sunday.I'l try to post on sat. just north of us at Austin and gull lakes in Michigan the report is that their sailing also ,check gull lakes web site for updates in that area.  Rick
