Great sail on smooth black ice tonight, just too bad it gets dark so soon.

Another great sail today.Recent warm weather flooded the ice to give it a zamboie smooth surface.Nice 10 -12 knts wind,and very moderate temps.Almost a shame I was the only iceboater using it,not that I did not try to get others to come.I guess I will be the western Canadian champion. Sad

Back on the ice by 7:30 AM to beat the predicted snow fall.Rigged in the headlights of the car and got three more hrs of good sailing in  before the snow came.Unfortunatly I now have 7 cm of wet snow covering my beautifull black ice. Sad
