M-59 access: Terribly rough for quite a way out because of all the traffic and lots of ice fisherman even along way out.
Brandenburg Park access: Looked inviting after I walked out a 1/4 mile, plenty thick and possibly raceable. Then I found a soft spot only about 4 in. thick. Then my right foot found a "trap door"; gas hole or something. Both of these were hard to find and I was looking for bad spots; no way you will see them sailing. I recommend STAYING OFF! Its got rotten spots and two days of cold won,t make it safe.
