After having a year of some great sailing and experience under my belt ,I watched the 6 part Sherry's Clinic video cllection again.What a lot of great advice some of which is actually starting to make a whole lot of sence to me.Thanks top ron and those responsible for it to be on the Web.
Maybe just for the sake of stirring the pot (again) there is one section that I disagree with.The segment about limiting runners ,Ron states that having 30 + years of being at the sport he believes he deserves an advantage,(being in that he has the full compliment of runners).My thinking is someone having sailed iceboats for 30+ years already has advantage enough,he does not need an equipment advantage.I think more so then anything what keeps more people from competing at this great sport is the perception of not playing on an equal playing field.
