Just sail-checked it one last time...surface has become styrofoam ...need sun / rain and we're not positive we'll get it though it has been hinted at...with the light wind predicted would not be fun now....stay tuned for better conditions to come.  Julie J

Come sail with the Madison DN'rs on Saturday.
Races typically start at 10a.

4LIYC Racing Called ON for Feb 18-19

Four Lakes Ice Yacht Club racing is called on for the weekend on Lake Monona. Launch your trailers on the ice at the end of Winnequah Trail in Monona. Do not drive on the ice. Ice checkers found 12" of ice at the landing. They found a small 1/2-1" wide working crack "a ways out" on the lake that should present no problem for racing. There's a little bit of 1/2" shell ice in some areas. Monona's ice looks much better than Mendota's. It's hard and black with 1/2" of just fallen snow which will not present a problem.
