Do we have dates for the major regatta's yet for this coming season.... trying to plan those pesky work commitments.

Nov. 30 - December 2, 2012 -  Great Western Challenge in Minnesota
2012 Ice Optimist North Americans - concurrent with Western Challenge
2012 DN Central Regionals - December 2012
2012 Central Lakes Ice Optimists - concurrent with 2012 DN Centrals
2013 DN Western Regionals - January 5-6
2013 Ice Optimist North Americans - concurrent with DN Westerns
2013 DN Central Regionals - TBD
2013 Ice Optimist Centrals - concurrent with DN Centrals
2013 DN Gold Cup and North Americans - January 26 - February 2 in central region
2013 DN Europeans - March 10-15, Finland
2013 DN Canadians - January
2013 European Ice Optiist and DN Junior Worlds - February 18-23, Lithuania
2013 DN Eastern Regionals - January

The season is getting near, the boat is coming together along with some new runners, but the biggest sign is the pickled eggs I made tonight....

The 2013 Centrals is scheduled the weekend after the Western Regionals.  Please note.....I said scheduled.  We still have the 2012 Centrals to complete in December.

We can never quite plan our regatta far in advance due to mother natures whims...  but much like the Western Challenge happening the first weekend of December, we will go out on a limb here and give STRONG SUGGESTION that the 2012 Central Championships will again be held as a "Holiday Classic" in between Christmas and New Years in the window of December 27th-30th.
  Many have vacation time, or holiday time off, and many have the weekend (29th and 30th) off.  This gives time for being with family both holidays with a little break in between to be with "your other family"  So mark that on your calendar.  In the unlikely evnt that we get fantastic earlier ice, the official call could be made to have the Centrals Then.... HOWEVER, regardless there will be A REGATTA on the planned date if weather allows...   so put it in your calendar!
Again the dates are December 27th-30th with STRONG emphasis on the 29th-30th of December.
