Our Skippers' Plan policy for iceboats provides coverage (including racing) across Canada and the northern US above 40 N latitude. Underwritten by Northbridge Insurance this is the only stand-alone ice boat insurance available in Canada.
You can purchase physical damage coverage up to $6000 for the iceboat and $1 million liability coverage for $250. If you only want liability coverage the annual premium is $200. The liability coverage pays for damage you may cause to other boats or bodily injury to third parties.
We are not licensed to sell insurance in the US so this is only available to Canadian residents.
