The October meeting of the Grand Traverse Yacht Club will be Tuesday, Oct 7th, 2008, in Traverse City, Michigan.
Our regular meeting place, the Grand Traverse Yacht Club, was destroyed by fire in April, and has not yet been rebuilt.
We will gather at the Harbor West Yacht Club's facility, located below Scott's Harbor Grill on M-22, about a mile north of the site of the GTYC at the Harbor West Yacht Basin. Turn right down the driveway at the traffic signal on M-22 and Cherry Bend Road, you'll see a deck outside the building on your right.
Our meeting will consist of organizing the next year, discussion of new officers, and other business. We will also discuss where to meet for the season, suggestions are pouring in, and your input is important.
It's going to be another great season of sailing and friendships, so come join us for this first montly meeting of the 2008-2009 season.
