sail often, travel light

« on: January 20, 2011, 04:03:01 PM »

Pete Johns reports:

Have 3 new Dn sailors that I found kite sailing and gave them a ride. Maiden voyage tomorrow. All we need is a breeze.  Ready to travel would like partner to check ice.

Pete

Ken says:

This lake is in the western region and is big enough... 1 X 3 miles, shallow, no flowage.  Just south of I-80, north of Henry IL.

Would love to get someone traveling with Pete doing the lake tour.  Opportunity for big influence in final decision.  Pete lives in Decateur IL.

I could make it down there Sunday - perhaps Saturday, too.
