Sunday, October 30, 2011
9:00 a.m. to noon, followed by a raffle
At Lucke's Cantina, 220 N. Elkhorn Rd (WI Hwy 67), Williams Bay, WI
(note, if you've come in prior years, Lucke's is across the street from the old Sailing Specialists building.)

All sorts of iceboats and gear for sale: Skeeters, stern steerers, DNs, Nites, etc., etc.
Boat builders and hardware manufacturers will have new products on display
Items for sale can be set up in the parking area at Lucke's.
 Please do not park your cars in the display area or in front of neighboring businesses.
A municipal lot is a short distance to the north.

 I am making a list of items that will be for sale at the Skeeter Ice Boat Club swap meet on October 30th, 2011 and a list of items people want to buy.     Also included will be other items that are available, or on a wish list, but will not be available at the swap meet.  I plan to email the list on Sunday, October 23rd

There are 300 names on my swap meet email list.   If you'd like your item to be included on the swap list, just post a reply  here and I'll add it to the list.   If you are not coming to the swap meet, be sure to include contact information.

FYI, the list project ws announced to my swap list yesterday afternoon.  Replies thus far include: Nite for sale coming to the swap;  small two seat Skeeter for sale coming to the swap;  small DN trailer for sale coming to the swap; guy in Colorado looking for a DN power sail;  a DN for sale in Colorado;  a Renegade for sale in southern Michigan; a buyer coming to the swap looking for a Nite or other two seater.

Some of the stuff that will be available at the Skeeter IBC Swap Meet on October 30, 2011 includes:
Class C Stern steerer; a DN hull with a Sherry plank;  Kenyon DN sail with matchng Shore sail; Nite #494.
small DN trailer;  3-DN trailer; C Skeeter with trailer;  18 ft. completely restored Mead Skeeter side-by-side with trailer; two ice opti sails, new, only $250 each; a runner sharpening machine on display, taking orders for preseason delivery.

Looking for boats to buy:
Two sailors looking for DNs to be competitive in bronze fleet; a guy looking for a Nite or Skeeter; a sailor looking for a boat faster than a Nite. (told him DN)

the infamous raffle will this year include stuff contributed by Sarns hardware, as well as the other major contributors.

Come early so you don't miss the good deals.

Here's is some more stuff that will be for sale at the Skeeter IBC swap meet on October 30, 2011

A Nite with a fresh custom paint job, complete with trailer.
A variety of DN gold fleet quality gear that belonged to Wendell Sherry, including runners, spars, sails -- see Ron Sherry at the swap meet.
Several sets of blanks for Renegade runners, 1095 steel.
one piece of 5160 steel for DN inserts.  1/4" thick.  Never used.  Prepped by Bill Sarns and drilled with his hole pattern.
One Harken carbo ratchematic block.

And free for anyone who can tote it away.   A cabinet that will hold 15 sets of DN runners   Cabinet is wood with masonite walls and sliding door.
