I would like to go sailing on the 26th, but can't seem to find out where the nearest ice is.  I am in Chicago.  Anybody have a reliable report of ice within 3-4 hours of here?

The closest I know of is in the twin cities. Maybe something in central MI soon?

Just about anywhere in Minnesota. We are completing Week 5 and some of us have logged 15 days on the ice. Our necks are sore but getting stronger.

Check the Central hotline after noon today for the latest info.   If contitions are favorable, we want to hold the 2011 Centrals Dec 29th and 30th in northern Michigan.   (248) 988-0851
