Lake Puckaway, 10 miles west of Green Lake is being rated as an 8 with clear, orange peel texture and average of 6 inches.
Sailing out of the Apuckaway Landing on the north west shore near Good Old Days lake shore pub and restaurant. Puckaway is a shallow lake.  There can be river current along the southern shore. Watch Green Lake Ice Yacht club facebook site for more updates.  It was sailed by several experienced sailors the past few days.

We've sailed for 3 days now on Lake Puckaway in Green Lake County.
We got the dusting of snow 2 days ago and 38 degrees today but had a blast out there.
The surface is great..
If you're looking for ice and can get here..it's worth the trip.
We will have ice optis set up for the wee folk Sunday...we had tweeners and teens out sailing Nites and DN's today.
Wind died at 3PM before we tried some racing but will try again Sunday.
This is what it's all about !  See you on the ice!
