I have a set of 3/16, 304 stainless insert runners at 90 degrees.  Would it be a good idea to make them into 100 degree runners?

If you have another set of 3/16” runners it would be fine. If you don’t, you’d be taking a set of good all around  runners and creating a far less versatile set. 100 degree runners can be great lite air runners but lack lateral grip and in heavier air can get quite  squirrelly. If you do decide to go with a set of 100 degrees, if they are 30” inserts go with 14-16” of crown and if the are 36”, l’d recommend 18-19” of crown.

Thanks Bob. I have another set of race runners. These are a set I picked years ago and are in excellent condition
