Ice Reporting

   We are trying to improve ice reporting in the Central Lakes Region. Michigan has two ice hotlines shown on this website, the Grand Traverse area hotline (231-922-3836) and the DN Ice Yacht Club of Detroit  hotline (248-988-0851) which is also the Central Lakes hotline. This season the Traverse area hotline will have local ice reports, a summery of the Central Lakes ice reports and ice reports received from other sources. Both of these hotlines should be checked since one might be more up to date then the other.  Bob Gray
