I was on Lake Pepin near Long Point skating on Wednesday January 16th. I help direct the emergency team responding to the call from Florence Township landing to Long Point where David Wodrich of Apple Valley MN. had gone into the lake.
I would like to send this lucky man an his wife a card, does anyone have David's address?
Please respond to dalen@storeworksinc.com
Thank you,

Ice is never safe!

This was a known and marked hazard during the NA's!

This cruising iceboater was "rescued" by his fellow iceboaters, (tip of the helmet to them!) before the emergency responders "body recovery" team showed up!  They're great people, but you can't ever count on them for anything more, it takes too long to suit up and turn out.  As always, never sail alone. Ripping around on 50 square miles of ice, you're sure to find "that flaw".
