The 2008 Northwest regatta held on Geneva Lake February 22-24 was a light air event that was a test of sailing skills. No running races, pure sailing. 84 boats competed in classes Stern Steerer, Skeeter, Renegade and DN with the DN fleet drawing the most entries (25 boats). DN results: 1- Jim Gluek, 8 pts.; 2nd - Bob Cave, 13 pts.; 3rd - Lou Loenneke, 15 pts.; 4th - John Davenport, 22 pts., 5th - Markham Chateton, 26 pts.; 6th - John Creigh, 26 pts.; 7th - Mark Isabell, 31 pts.; 8th - Jane Pegel, 32 pts.; 9th - Bob Rast, 41 pts.; 10th - Geoff Sobering, 43 Pts., 11th - Sue Pegel, 46 pts.; 12th - Tom Meyer, 48 pts.; 13th - Ken Smith, 55 pts., 14th - Clinton Renji, 56 pts. 15th - Erick Loenneke, 58 pts.; 16th - Eric Wilson, 70 pts.; 17th - Peter Hoeper, 73 pts.; 18th - Joe Norton, 83 pts.; 19th - Tim Cleary, 83 pts.; 20th - Mike Derusha, 85 pts.; 21st - Russ Burke, 88 pts.; 22nd - Jori Lenon, 91 pts.; 23rdT - Bob McKesson, 100 pts; 23rdT - John Lamont, 100 pts.; 23rdTSarah Seeboth, 100 pts.
