The Skeeter Ice Boat Club (which includes Skeeters, Nites, DNs, and Stern Steerers) has scheduled its 23rd annual iceboat swap meet on Sunday October 26, 2008.  The event will be held, rain or shine.
The time is 9:00 a.m. to noon, followed by a raffle.
The location is at Sailing Specialists, Inc., 210 N. Walworth Ave., Williams Bay, WI. Williams Bay is located on the north side of Geneva Lake.

Sailing Specialists is located on the north side of the Village of Williams Bay.  WI State Hwy 67 runs north and south.  Walworth Ave runs parallel to Hwy 67 and just one block to the west.  Follow the crowd.

If you have any questions, feel free to email Jane Pegel, sailing19@charter.net.  If you get lost on your way to the swap meet, phone 262-245-6242 for directions.

This is the day to swap, buy, and sell new and used iceboats and equipment.  There is no fee charged for participating.

Boat builders and hardware manufacturers will have new products on display.
Refreshments will be available at Lucke's Cantino, across the street from Sailing Specialists.

Ice Optimists will be on display and Daniel Hearn will have some new Quantum made Ice Optimist sails available for $150 with the proceeds to go to the US Ice Optimist organization

Items for sale can be set up on the black top parking area at Sailing Specialists and on the grassy area immediately to the south.  Please do not park your cars in the display areas.

Parking:  Please DO NOT park or set up you displays adjacent to neighboring businesses. Just 150 yards to the north there is a municpal parking lot located at the intersection of Walworth Ave. and Stark St. (on the north side of Stark St), across from Burrough's Floor Coverings.
