The Skeeter IBC Swap meet is shaping up to be a grand event.
The weather forecast is partly clouding, temperature around 50 degrees, and 20% chance of snow flurries to get everyone into the iceboating mood.

Who's bringing stuff?  Ron Sherry will be there with new and used product.  There will be a representative from Sarns Hardware.  Northwind hardware from Steve Duhamel will be on display with Susie Pegel taking your order.  Dave's Machining will again show his wares.  John Ritter from S & R Marine will answer your questions about Nites.  Sailing Specialists, Inc., has discounts on Harken and Ronstan hardware and is offering Sarns hardware below manufacturer's suggested retail price on a preseason special offer that goes through November 25th.

The location is Sailing Specialists, Inc., 210 N. Walworth Ave., Williams Bay, WI.  9 a.m. to noon with a raffle to follow.   If you have any questionsm or want a copy of the Preseason Parts Offer, feel free to contact Jane Pegel, 262-245-6242, sailing19@charter.net

Sunday, October 26, was a beautiful day in Williams Bay, partly sunny, temperatures falling into the forties during the day, and wind over 40 mph.  Some misc stuff traded hands, a used Nite was sold, a new Ice Optimist was sold, a pair of Skeeters with a trailer went for $35,000, some cruiser DNs were sold.  Thanks to those who donated to the raffle: S & R Marine, Quantum Inland Sails, Composite Concepts, Pete Barrett, Lake Riley iceboaters,  4 Lakes IYC, Sarns Hardware, Dave's Machining, Sailing Specialists.  We were privileged to have the winning tickets picked out by John Ruf, 2008 ParaOlympic Single Handed Sailing Bronze medalist.

See you on the ice soon!
