Vaseaux Lake BC / Ice Report

8 kms south of OK Falls BC / 22 kms south of Penticton BC / 18 kms north of Oliver BC

3" of clear ice with 1" of light snow

Ice was sailed on Jan. 14th 2012 (video link in open forum: BC ICE BOATERS)

We launch at Vaseaux Lake Provincial Campground, on Hwy 97

There are some open holes in the ice which are easily visible now with snow on the surface and will be marked.

The forecast is for very cold temperatures this week which will increase thinkness.
