I throughly enjoyed this years NA's. It truly showed me what a great boat the DN is. Most of us sailed three days on really rough ice on saturday an fairly rough ice with a lot of wind and a fair number of snow drifts up to 6"-8" deep on monday and a little less wind on tuesday. Considering the conditions there was very little major breakage and only minor screw loosening etc.. Congratulations to the boat builders. Because the course was relatively short , bad spots to avoid and the never ending wind shifts, the races were more tactical then normal and a lot more tacking was done. Considering this, there were a lot less collisions then I would have expected, again nice sailing guys. The last thing I want to mention is that the bar tender at the Condo said we were the nicest group that they had there that he could remember. I can't think of another group of people I'd rather associate with.
